I just don't even know what to say. Malcolm was one of those people that touched so many of our lives in Lewisham Borough. Ever since I got involved in the Young Mayor Programme he always had my back, and the backs of others.

Malcolm is the reason that so many of us from Lewisham and beyond had doors opened that allowed us to grow as individuals, pursue our careers and passions and give back to other young people in the borough as we moved forward with our lives. I'll never forget his unique charm, his calm demeanour, his big heart, that unique handshake, learning what 'E-numbers' were and so many things about him.

I'm honoured to have know you and I find peace in knowing that you used your days here to impact people positively.

Rest well Malcolm. You're greatly missed and widely remembered, and your legacy will live on.
